Day 2

Sightseeing Srinagar

Start your day with a visit to Chashme Shahi Gardens or Pari Mahal Gardens. These gardens can be found on the shores of Dal Lake.

The Shankaracharya Temple is also available. It is situated on the hill of Shankaracharya and is also called Jyoteshwar Temple. You can enjoy a stunning view of the green hills from this location.

Day 3

Explore Gulmarg by traveling to it

Return to Srinagar

You can return to Srinagar. Srinagar can be found approximately 100km from Chandanwari. You can visit Nishat bagh after you have checked in at the hotel. This place is also known as the “Garden of Pleasures”. The latter is the larger of both gardens. The garden boasts a large plantation of Chinese trees on one its highest terraces. The symmetrical design of the gardens included central streams and fountains that divided a series of garden terraces.

Lake Manasabal is a great place to bird watch if you’re interested in it. You can also visit Hazratbal Mosque which is the only dome mosque in the city.

The Jamia Masjid is also located in the heart of Srinagar’s old city. To return home, you can be picked up at your hotel or train station and taken to the airport/train station.
